What did you do to, or on your streetglide today?

Will pull the front chrome crash bars and rear saddle bag guards off tomorrow, to get ready to ship and powder coat black.
A guy here does a good job for a good price. Been good weather here, but into the 6 week of shoulder surgery so been frustrated missing the riding opportunity! Getting ready for Spring!

Was getting ready to go for a ride and it started to rain. So I cleaned the garage instead and made some room for the new girl.

I also have that same jack and it works great. I don't have room to push my bike in the garage to get it nose out so I use my jack to spin it around. Never a problem.

did some beautafaction to it.

did some beautafaction to it.

I have done all I can to it in the last few days/ week that every time I opened the saddle bags the damn hinges just looked bad to me. So I took them out and polished them as well as the hooks that the lid latches to.hingeAfter.jpghingeBefore.jpg

It was about 75 here today after a week of nothing but rain. Was so happy to be able to get out and ride. The wife and i rode about 80 miles and got to stop at a brewery we had never been to. I'd call that a good day for December.

very nice. we are lucky if we see 60degs right now. My garage today was 35degs all day.

I took advantage of some great weather in the DC area and went for a ride yesterday. I was only out for a couple of hours due to family obligations but it was great riding along the Potomac River near Mount Vernon. I also christened my left floor board yesterday.

Used my dealer points for some adjustable air wing vents. I won't get to test them till weds but I hope they help. That's one item off the wish list!

azglocker, what air are you looking to control? The air coming up from between the fairing and fuel tank takes either the fork fangs or the plate under the triple tree coming back towards the frame to stop.

The first goal was to keep some wind off my hands for the cold mornings. I haven't even noticed the air flow from between the tank and fairing, just the upward flow from the sides of the tank. If I'm still not satisfied I'll get the fork fangs but I wanted to try these first since I hadn't seen anyone mention a comparison between the two.

New windshield is also on the list. You guys make it hard to look at anything but Clearview shields!

Damn, You're as board as I was last winter. I removed all of the screws from both saddlebags and my King Tour-Pak, and re-installed them all after putting a drop of Lok-Tite on each one. I had been on a ride where someone lost a latch and we had to bungee cord it home. I thought 'that ain't gonna be me'!
