What did you do to, or on your streetglide today?

Thankfully, the dealership got me in and out in about an hour. When I initially called they said they had a full docket today, but the tech I spoke with said this is a common issue and they could squeeze me in...

So just another thing to be mindful of fellow gliders, our joysticks are going out like crazy apparently. He told me that the '16 switches are different from the '15 switches, and that the '15s tend to have the left joystick fail, while they're seeing more right joystick failures on the '16s. I'm just glad I'm still under warranty and haven't changed my bars yet (as I'm sure they would have said it was my fault if I did) - because the right control switch assembly on the zeroed out (warranty) invoice they gave me apparently costs $210!
 
Well it must be summer. Air temp sensor peaked at 121 on the way home. Poor girl I had promised to get her cooling fans before summer.. That's not happening for a good 2-3 months financially

I picked my bike up from getting a sweet tune from C&S Speed Shop- and took a grin-filled ride in the rain around St. Louis. I'm really happy with the results and can't wait until I hit dry pavement tomorrow morning.
 
200 miles on curvy side roads of Missouri. Good times- even when I wandered on to a route where the pavement ended.
 
Put 420 miles on her today, Dallas to Arkansas. Will ride the Ozarks for a couple of days. She handled well, dispute a couple of Pterodactyls hitting me in the face. Still not sure how they made it over the shield.

I went with polished chrome, got it from visionx warehouse just search google. They match any advertised price, I saw a smoking deal on Amazon and he matched it.

Added 12" LA Choppers Twin Peaks with Namz plug & Play wiring with Performance Machine Apex grips. Install took me about 4 hours taking my time.

Installed some "Love Jugs" to keep the bike cool (and they look pretty cool).

Finally got all the parts for my Stereo. Took a month to get a wiring harness from Rockford to install my magic box. I really can't tell a difference with or without the magic box but everyone said I need it if I don't flash the stereo. Got the gain set to match my Polk 651s too.
