I added dual Streamliner shifter pegs, added a set of Profile Custom Mirrors , added the Tri-Bar aux/brake light upgrade, gave her a bath and took her for a ride?

What did you do today?

Well I didn't do it today but so far I've done V&H true dual headers, Twin Slash Rounds slipons, PCV, Tri-Bar aux/brake light upgrade, Led aux/brake light for batwing luggage rack, Arlen Ness Big Sucker Air filter, Passenger Floor boards, put stock rear pegs as my highway pegs, & bathed her yesterday! Have MANY MORE to do!

Gave it a bath, adjusted the air pressure in the shocks, checked the air filter, pulled the seat off so I can send it out tomorrow to Mean City Cycles to lower and narrow it for me and widen it for my wife. No she isn't a big gal, just thought it would be better for longer trips. Memory foam in both pads. Plugged in the battery tender for the week off.

Nothing today but I should have taken her out for a quick spin. The temp was 35 degrees today.

Last week I added V&H Dresser Duals, twin slash rounds and a tune along with the chrome chisel air cleaner. Today my dealer had a 20% off sale so I bought the lighted hand controls and put them on, much to my surprise it already has the PTT switch on the right side. Going to be installing the CB module in preparation for a trip out west next summer.

Well, since I took delivery Oct 5th, upgrades I've done to the FLHXS recently besides the ones purchased with the bike ( Wind Splitter-Fairing Antenna-Fairing lowers-4 point w/Luggage rack-backrest ):

I added the all new RUSH Ceramic (inside & out) Catless True Duals head pipes Model# 7017 chrome.
I added the RUSH 15301-200 Slp ons (2 inch baffles). Believe me they are plenty loud with the head pipes!
I added the SERT Super Tuner Model# 32109-08C and Stage 1 Download. I also added chrome bag guards as I realized if I need to pick it up, there’s nothing to grab hold on in the rear!
And for much improved safety/visibility I added 2 items:
There is a HD upgrade Tri-bar light module that also adds brake light capability to the lower fender model# 67774-10
And the all new Custom Dynamics front and rear LED turn/tail/brake lights with Red Lenses for rear and Smoked for front. A couple of notes here, you must use the CD factory looking lenses to make room for the plug and play light kits. They went on (all 4) in about 15 minutes and you do NOT need the old transformer for the 2014 Touring models. What is really cool besides the much brighter stock bulbs is; the amber front parking lamps have a clear outer ring of lights that act like mini auxiliary running lights when your not using the turn signals. Kit numbers are: GEN 200R-1157 for rear (Red lenses) and for the front GEN 200AW-1157 (smoke lenses). The people there were great to work with +++++.
The pipes really opened this engine up; it is much more responsiveness and has more torque & power.

Note: the Vance & Hines Power Duals (non Ceramic)
pretty much do the same at about $100 less money still using the Rush 2 inch baffle slip ons.

Aside from the dealer installed upgrades (below) that I had done prior to delivery on my 2014 Vivid Black FLHX Recently:

Phase 5:

Cut my credit card up into small pieces and burn it!

Hahahahahaha! I almost had my morning coffee come out of my nose. I think you could have said "I'm going to get a couple Harley catalogs and buy all the parts to build a bike myself" ;) I sure hope you put some pictures up after each stage, sounds like it's going to be one nice bike.

Thanks, I will. Having to hold off on Phase 2 and 3 until certain parts are available for the 2014 SG, hopefully completed by the end of February depending on manufacturers. As for Phase 4, maybe next winter, by then I hope all manufacturers have their new stuff out in case I see something I like better.

DM1- It'll take you 6 months to remove all of that before you trade someday! It must be c o l d where you're at today too!!! All I did was add the mirror/signal covers.

I think your right, hopefully I keep it for a while. The weather has been a little cold here in Dallas and I'm ready for some warm weather, it can't show up soon enough for me!

Hey harleymojoman, how did that upgrade go, is it pretty much plug n play? Been looking at those myself.

Floorboard extenders from http://vtwingoodies.com/, real easy install, took about 15 minutes. When I put the screaming Eagle air cleaner on it stuck out so far my leg would be resting on it, also didn't like the feel of my boot between the toe/heel shifter so these moved out about an inch, much better.

What did you do to your bike today?

I added a set of bag liners, jiffy stand extender, tri bar light conversion. Best of all got out for a winter ride on a clear 40F day and going back out tomorrow...

Horn and air cleaner Led lights.

Horn and air cleaner Led lights.

Decided to put these on my bike. Willie G mesh horn cover. Back lit with amber led lighting. And put some led lights in the stock air cleaner. No led lighting for the rest of the bike. Cop pulled me over before on my old bike for impersonating a police officer. Got that thrown outta court but left a bad taste in my mouth so wont be lightin up the whole bike. Haha
