Primary bolt

Pulled primary cover to check chain and everything. Put it all back together and now the bottom 2 long bolts # 7 and 5 won’t tighten. Do I need to have it retapped or new bolts. They go all the way into the block I believe. What’s the best method of getting it fixed.

The threads on the engine case are stripped if you can not torque the long bolts. I order to fix the issue properly you are going to have to remove the inner primary cover and install heli coils.
