What's the best out the door price for a 2017 SGS?

2017 HD.jpgJust bought a Velocity Red SG Standard last weekend for $18,995. The only add-on was a $99 doc fee. Oklahoma has you pay the T,T & L in 30 days at the DMV, so that's not included in the price. That was at Myers-Duren H-D in Tulsa, OK.

2017 SGSpecial 21,400 for the bike. 25k out the door, with a 5-year extended service protection plan, tax, tag, and title. I am ok with the deal. I think I could have possible got the bike for 20,500.00, or 24k out the door with the removal of the freight/assemble. Either way I am happy I bought the bike. May 2017 purchase

Just picked up a 2017 SGS Hard Candy Hot Rod Rod Red Flake (premium paint) for $25.9K out the door (Texas). Took a bit of negotiation between two dealers to get this. Seems like a pretty good deal vs retail price, I don't think I could have gotten near this on a 2018. Added 5-yr extended warranty on top of this for about 60% of retail.

Picking up mine tomorrow. 2017 SGS in black

$20,816 for the bike

23,000 OTD with tax and other fees

Hudson Harley in Nanuet, NY

Saturday my dealer had matching RDS & SGS in Hot Rod Red for $24,499 ea. + TTL

This is my first post so, be nice and kind please..... My SGS was purchased from the Harley Davidson Dealer in Orlando, FL.

I bought my 2017 SGS, Hot Rod Candy Red (Hard Candy Red) in August and I paid BEFORE taxes and all those inconvenient fees the dealer loves to charge the amount of $24,965 for the bike.

After all the taxes, tag and title fees, and additional 2 year warranty ($1,400) the total came to about $29,130 out the door.

OUCH! Seems pretty high, as long as your happy though.

I think that being that they had 4 2017 SGS on the floor contributed to the price along with the fact that it was October 31 and I think that they wanted another sale for the month.

Yep, just looked at a 2018 black on black and it was 28,000 before taxes and prep in Minneapolis- [emoji30][emoji30][emoji30]

The motor company quietly snuk up the prices on the 2018's substantially! Another reason sales are way off!

Resurrecting this.......

I bought a leftover 2017 new SGS for 22,500 + tax. Couple grand off retail, plus no setup/delivery (another grand usually). Happy with the deal.

Congrats. Closely mirrors the deal I made last year.

There was a day and age leftover model years didn't exist. Sign of the times. Enjoy your new SGS.
