I've had dirt bikes, ATVs and snowmobiles throughout the years too.

I started on a brand new 1998 Honda CBR1100XX (Blackbird) and rode for about 10 years before a cage totaled it. My next purchase was a new 2007 Kawasaki ZX14 which I rode until this year and traded in on my 2014 SG. I sometimes miss the sportbikes, but will never go back.

Started on a 2007 Yamaha Roadstar 1700S, rode it for 5 years, had no issues with it. Wanted a Radio, naturally it came with a streetglide attached.

I traded my 2012 Honda Goldwing in for my new 2014 Streetglide and couldn't be happier. I was looking for a lighter more nimble ride. The streetglide still provides some protection from the wind with the bat wing and has some storage available in the saddlebags. So its the best of both worlds, great handling, fun to ride with some touring capabilities.

I've had a bunch of different bikes from dirt to a custom chopper with a Honda 750 motor and long springer front end. Last bike before the SG was a 2011 Night Rod Special, nice bike but in 3 years I only put about 2300 miles on it and wanted something I could go on trips with. Put 16K miles on my '14 already.

Been riding for a while. But got out of the game. 2009 SG traded for 2011 Yamaha FJR 1300A just traded it for my new 14 SGS. Let me tell you the improvements from the 09 to the 14 is like night and day. What a sweet bike.
